I think the tank has to be replaced dont think you get the sensor out. You could try by take the tank off and see if it will come out of tank but I dont think it will.

The dipstick has a tiny bit of coolant on the bottom below the last hole (almost empty). Radiator is full. No signs of overheating and the temps are always within the normal range (based on weather, load, towing etc). Adding engine coolant (also known as antifreeze) to your 2012 Ram 1500 is pretty easy. Engine coolant circulates through your engine to keep it cool in the summer but won't freeze in the winter. Make sure to check your engine when it is cold for an accurate reading.
